Welcome

On the darkest night and in the darkest times, community comes together. We bond and create. We cherish the light of the Yule log and draw upon it’s warmth. We are guided on the journey of the Winter Solstice, as the Gods and the elementals everso watch. The ancient rites are reborn and the light is returned.

Yule Like It 2012 - 5 days and 4 nights- December 5th to December 9th, 2012 – Yule Like It is a community driven Pagan spiritual event. It is open to all with a good attitude. This event is designed to create Community and is themed and choreographed from start to finish to culminate with the Main Ritual, Saturday night at midnight. The Community Ritual is the primary focus of this event.

Wandering Minstrels will delight you in your camp as  fairies and nymphs provide you sustenance and bring  joy and laughter as they emerge from the woods.

Fire performers will enact the tale of the season with the dancers as they provide a beautiful and heartfelt performance expressing their joy at being alive and the return of the Sun. The Community energy builds through out the event and more folks become involved being caught up in the spirit and happiness that the return of the Sun brings.

Top Notch musicians provide the musical backdrop during the entire event.

The drumming and drummers this event attracts are second to none.  Anywhere. To listen to a drum in a drum circle is one thing, to experience the power of the drum used as a ritual tool is awesome.

Workshops of Community interest happen through out the event.

The Community Mural Project is a traveling Community Mural created by folks at various events.

The Community Sacred Fire is ritually lit on Wednesday and is lovingly maintained the entire event, ashes from previous events are saved and added to each new fire. Only hardwood is used in the sacred fire.

Main Ritual is a powerful Community driven event that will delight and inspire you.

It is very important to mention here that Yule Like It is a Community driven event, The Community makes this event happen, many awesome folks from many different paths, come together and offer their talents, skills and majik to make this event special in so many ways. It is truly a one of a kind experience not to be missed.
